Brings you Yoga 101 an Introduction to Yoga. Many People have curiosity about Yoga but have intimidation entering Class for the First time. We’re hoping to change that.This will be a Beginner Focused Class breaking down the ins & outs of Yoga. We’ll discuss the different styles of Yoga so you understand what kind of class suits you best.

In a Safe & Nurturing Environment you will learn to Breathe Properly. You will learn the importance of Stretching Safely & Effectively. How to calm your Nervous System. The basics of Yoga so that you leave with all the Tools to hop into any Yoga class with Confidence. Not to Mention the ability to Create your own at Home Yoga Practice.

This price is per week if you choose to do individual weeks.  We will meet every Wednesday starting April 3 until June 12th.  We will skip April vacation week.

**Cancellation Policy** If you cancel there will be a small fee taken out to cover the fee.  Cancelling 2 days before the class there will be no refund.**

Want to make your own pasta?  Then we have the classes for you!  Join us as Jennifer teaches you how to make your own pasta!  Each week you will learn something new. 

You can choose to do all of the classes or pick and choose what classes you would like to do.  Each class is $25.  

Jennifer has loved cooking since childhood.  She is 1/2 Italian and grew up in the kitchen.  She loves cooking from scratch and trying new foods. She is a Registered Nurse and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist.  She resides in Mapleton with her Husband and has 3 grown children.  

Week 1-- Pasta fagioli-- Literally pasta and beans.  Not your Olive Garden variety.  Every Italian family has their own version.

Week 2 -- Clams and spaghetti with garlic, red pepper and olive oil sauce

Week 3 -- Pasta Puttanesca - garlic, caper, tomato, olive sauce

Week 4 -- Chicken Piccata -- butter, lemon, caper sauce

We are holding an Informational Meeting on our Italy trip on March 14th at 6 pm. The meeting will take place at Adult Ed, so please come to our door to be let in. This is a great time to ask all the questions to have about this amazing trip!

If you can not attend this meeting in person we will be sending out a Zoom link to anyone who registers for this meeting.

Have you ever wanted to go to New York City? Now is your chance! Adult Education is preparing an amazing trip for June/July of 2025. Want to hear more about it? Join us on Thursday, May 30th from 6 to 8 pm. We will have hand outs and will be able to answer all of your questions.

On June 1st Presque Isle will be holding their annual City Wide Yard Sale. If you want to participate but live too far out of town or in another town we have an option for you. We are selling off parking spaces in our parking lot (behind the high school) for $7 each to put your garage sale items in.

Set up will start at 6:30 am on Saturday and we will close up by 3 PM. We will be doing this Saturday ONLY. (Cars can be parked in the upper parking lot). We have 45 spots available and if we max that out will be see about opening more spots.

B.A.S.I.C is an acronym for Bureau of Alcoholic Beverages, Alcohol, Seller/Server, Informational, Course. 

The course is taught by an experienced, state licensed Liquor Inspector. The mission of B.A.S.I.C is to promote responsible sales, encourage responsible consumption, and prohibit the sales of alcohol to minors. We encourage parents to talk to children about the dangers of the use of alcohol and we provide tools to our licensed agency liquor store partners to prevent the sales of alcohol to minors. This course will help you become a responsible seller/server with the skills to be successful and comfortable dealing with challenges and prepare you to thrive while protecting the most vulnerable in our communities. There is a pre-test and a post-test, and successful completion will award you a three year B.A.S.I.C certification.
